G20 Delegation Visits Kampung Samtama Tourist Village RW 03 Cempaka Putih

Several G20 delegates visited the Kampung Samtama tourist village, RW 03 Cempaka Putih Timur, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/29).

They were invited to explore the various activities of residents ranging from waste processing, green alleys, and vineyards.

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said that the visit of the G20 delegation to the Kampung Samtama tourist village, RW 03 Cempaka Putih Timur was an honor. It was in the context of a comparative study on climate change mitigation.

"The Central Jakarta administration and the community warmly welcome the arrival of the G20 delegation as a form of collaboration in forming the RW 03 tourist village," he expressed, at the location.

He explained that the RW 03 Cempaka Putih Timur area is a model village that is resilient to the climate in Indonesia.

"Kampung tangguh iklim (climate-resilient village) is a citizen initiative supported by the government and CSR. This area is a pilot project," he explained.

He added that the activities of the residents of RW 03 Cempaka Putih Timur, a pro-klim village, have a daily life that is not artificial and has been built for a long time.

"Pride for the Central Jakarta administration, as this area was visited by other countries as an example that will be imitated in other places," he stated.
